EMPLOYEE HIRING – SCHOOL BASED REHAB PROGRAM
Wednesday, September 24, 2014 WESTARM Physical Therapy of Lower Burrell, PA, announces the hiring of Colleen Harchuck, MPT, Miranda L. Watson, MS, OTR/L, and Jennifer L. Magulick, BS, OTR/L for additional staffing of their School-Based Rehab program. They will provide physical and occupational therapy to special needs students within several local school districts.
Ms. Harchuck has specialized for the past 16 years in providing quality physical therapy services to pediatric patients and students in a school-based environment. She will offer this to special needs students and supervise all rehab services provided within the Burrell, Freeport, Leechburg, and New Kensington - Arnold School Districts. Colleen earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MPT) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science from Duquesne University. She is a lifelong resident of the Alle-Kiski Valley and currently resides in Apollo.
Ms. Magulick has over 15 years of experience providing early intervention services in home environments, school-based settings for children from K-12th grade, and outpatient departments treating children with developmental delay and autism spectrum disorders. She will now be working with the special needs students of the New Kensington - Arnold School District. Jennifer is familiar with this school district as she previously served as an assistant cheerleading coach. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BS, OTR/L) from Gannon University in Erie, PA. She is a graduate of Freeport High School and currently resides in Sarver.
Ms. Watson has worked as a staff occupational therapist in inpatient and outpatient settings for the past 10 years. She began school-based rehab last year in the Armstrong School District and will now work primarily at the Burrell School District.
Miranda earned a Master of Science, Occupational Therapy (MS, OTR/L) and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Gannon University in Erie, PA. She currently resides in New Kensington.
WESTARM is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency that has been in business for over 31 years. They offer outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy at eight (8) facilities and skilled nursing & therapy in patients’ homes throughout the Allegheny Kiski Valley. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy services for special-needs students and athletic training for student athletes.
