EMPLOYEE HIRING - PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 - WESTARM Therapy & Homecare of Lower Burrell, PA, announces the hiring of Melody Metnick, PTA, as a Physical Therapist Assistant at their Sarver facility located in south Butler County.

Melody has 17 years of clinical experience working for the WPAHS at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, PA in the outpatient, inpatient and acute care rehabilitation departments. She also has extensive experience working with occupational medicine and psychiatric patients. She believes in using various manual therapies techniques in the treatment of patients.

Ms. Metnick earned an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) in Monroeville, PA. She currently resides in Lower Burrell with her husband and daughter. She enjoys gardening and is very active in her church.

WESTARM is a Medicare Certified Rehabilitation Agency that has been in business for over 28 years. They offer outpatient Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy at eight (8) facilities and Skilled Nursing homecare services in the same vicinities. They also contract with local school districts to provide therapy for special needs students and athletic training for injured athletes.
